As for what this Project M game would look like, the only clue we have is from the sole piece of concept art depicting a punky sci-fi city Krafton released to the public above, so there’s not much there. Moonbreaker could very well be this game’s title, but that’s just speculation for now. Unknown Worlds recently filed a patent at the USPTO for a game called Moonbreaker, which seems like an interesting coincidence when looking at Project M. Krafton calls it “Project M” in their FY2021 financial report. We still don’t know much about this game. According to PC Gamer, it’s going to be “a turn-based strategy game set in a sci-fi world” for PC and mobile. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be the third installment in the Subnautica series.
